The Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links is set in splendid surroundings overlooking the beach. The house was originally owned by the Jameson family, famous for their Irish whiskey.

The home has been tastefully converted to an international hotel with the grounds now hosting a magnificent 18 hole Bernard Langer-designed golf links. The 26 executive rooms are located in scenic positions throughout the hotel. All have large bay windows or balconies. The 103 standard rooms have been designed to ensure that you are either looking over the sea or the beauty of the golf course.

Designed by Bernhard Langer, the hotel course and the Portmarnock Golf Club is laid out on the classic link's landscape which once formed part of the old Jameson Estate. From the 1st hole, a short par 4 framed on the right by an ancient graveyard and a fairway traversed by water, to the magnificent 18th a golfing masterpiece, each distinctive hole provides a unique and exciting challenge.
