The K Club has been home to the Smurfit European Open since 1995, and is to be the venue for The Ryder Cup in 2006. The Arnold Palmer designed Golf Course is recognised as one of the finest in Europe.

The course, designed by Arnold Palmer, has three playing options, The Palmer, Jefferson and Barton, offering varying levels of difficulty for golfers of all standards.

With a practice Area and Driving Range and the resident Golf Professional available for tuition, it makes for the perfect golfing break destination and vacation. Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Electrical Carts are available to hire.

The K Club boasts its own luxurious Clubhouse to unwind after a day of sporting activities. It has been designed and equipped to reflect the style and standards of the overall complex.

Other activities available are the Sports Centre with 2 Indoor Tennis Courts, Squash and Gymnasium; the Health & Leisure Club - With Indoor Swimming Pool, Saunas, Jacuzzi, Exercise Room, Massage, Professional Health & Beauty Treatments, Hairdressing and Solarium. River and Lake Game Fishing is available on a mile stretch of the River Liffey and on three lakes in the Resort. Coarse Fishing for a choice of Bream, Tench, Rudd or Carp is also available on three lakes. All equipment can be provided including rods, clothing, 5 bait and flies. Ghillies are available all year round and tuition can be arranged.
Clay Target Shooting can be arranged all year round or Driven Game Shoots can be arranged in season. Horse-riding is available nearby with transport provided.
